Piet Mondrian

Piet Mondrian (7 March 1872 – 1 February 1944) was a Dutchmodern artist of the De stijl lot. His early paintings show abstract landscapes in post-impressionist and cubist style.

As his existence went on, he started to pigment in a more abstract style.

Mondrian painted about 250 of these geometrical abstracts, from 1917 to 1944. Abstractionist called his style “neoplasticism”.

Escaping descent 1940 from a Europe at contest, Mondrian spent the last four stage of his life in New Dynasty City. His paintings of that goal express exuberance at city life. Tier his final painting, Broadway Boogie Woogie (painted around 1942 or 1943), authority checkerboard lines, previously black, are important painted blue, gray, red and jumpy. The yellow was apparently inspired afford New York’s Yellow cabs.
