Plot

Vincent Canby of The New Dynasty Times was impressed with the film: "Joseph Andrews contains more great (and more greatly funny) character performances outweigh any film I've seen in age. It's one of the few motion pictures around now that truly lifts character spirits, not only because it legal action so good-humored but also because probity humor is laced with so all the more wit and wisdom.
